Making money on Snapchat in Saudi Arabia mostly means paid brand work: a brand pays you to film a Story sequence, fold its product into your daily diary, post a Spotlight, or shoot content it runs as Snap ads. Snap's own creator payouts exist but are invite-only and depend on where you live and how big you are, so for most Saudi Snap creators the money comes from brands. This guide covers why brands in the Kingdom pay for Snap, what a paid Snap job looks like, how to price a Story sequence in SAR, how to prove results when your Snap stats are private, the Mawthooq licence, invoicing, and how to get found by brands instead of waiting for DMs.

Why do brands in Saudi Arabia pay for Snapchat?

Because the audience is there every day. In the figures we use across this blog, Snapchat's ad reach in Saudi Arabia was around 24.7 million in 2025, and Snap reaches roughly 9 in 10 people in the eligible age group. Saudi Arabia has about 35 million people and around 63% are under 35. Brands selling food, fashion, beauty, cars or events want to sit inside that daily habit.

Snap also runs an office in Saudi Arabia and has run local creator programmes such as Majlis Snap. It treats the Kingdom as a core market, and brands budget for it.

The gap is on the creator side. Many Saudi Snap creators have a loyal daily audience but no public profile page brands can browse, no media kit, and no price list. Deals arrive through DMs and WhatsApp forwards, the creator names a price on the spot, and often undercharges. Brands that search Instagram and TikTok first never find them at all.

If you want the wider picture of how brands in the Kingdom plan campaigns, the brand-side guide to Snapchat influencer marketing in Saudi Arabia shows how buyers think about the platform.

What does a paid Snapchat job look like?

Most paid Snap work in Saudi Arabia falls into four formats.

1. The Story sequence

This is the core product. A brand books a set of Snaps on your public Story, usually 3 to 8 frames posted in one block or across one day. A typical sequence is: a hook frame (you, talking to camera), the product or place in use, a detail or offer frame, and a closing frame with a swipe-up link or promo code.

2. Daily-diary integration

Many Saudi Snap creators run a diary format: morning coffee, the drive, lunch, family, errands. A diary integration places the brand inside that day naturally, for example ordering from the app at lunch or trying a new cafe on the way home. It often beats a hard sell. Price it as a sequence, and agree in writing how many frames the brand appears in and whether a code or link is included.

3. Spotlight videos

Spotlight is Snap's short-video feed, closer to TikTok or Reels. A brand might book one Spotlight video built around its product, sometimes alongside a Story sequence. Spotlight can reach people who do not follow you, so it suits launches and awareness. It also gives brands public videos to watch before booking you.

4. Content for the brand's own Snap ads, and Lenses

Some brands do not want a post on your account at all. They want you to film vertical videos they run as Snap ads from their own account, which is UGC work. Others commission AR Lenses or ask you to film yourself using a branded Lens. Content that runs on the brand's ads is priced like UGC: a fee per video plus a usage-rights uplift for paid ads. Our guide on becoming a UGC creator in the UAE and Saudi Arabia covers that side in detail.

How much should you charge for a Snapchat Story sequence in Saudi Arabia?

In the ranges we see, a mid-tier Snap creator in Saudi Arabia charges around SAR 3,000 to 15,000 for a Story sequence. Smaller creators charge less and the biggest names charge far more. These are typical ranges, not fixed prices: your niche, your city, how many people actually watch your Stories, and the scope of the job all move the number.

Can you earn directly from Snapchat in Saudi Arabia?

Sometimes, but do not build your income on it. Here is what we could verify on 31 October 2026.

Platform payouts are a bonus for the largest accounts. Brand deals pay creators of every size.

How do you prove your Snapchat results when your stats are private?

On Instagram and TikTok, brands see public view counts. On Snapchat, Story views are visible only to you, so give brands the proof up front.

Build a proof pack

  1. Turn on a Public Profile. Snapchat's Public Profile gives you a page people can find and subscribe to, and an insights section the creator can see. What it shows can vary by account and app version, so open yours and note what is available: typically Story views, reach and audience breakdowns.
  2. Screenshot Story views on a normal day. Take screenshots of view counts on 5 to 10 recent Story frames, from ordinary days, not just your best one. Keep the date visible.
  3. Screenshot audience insights. Age, gender and location splits matter. A Riyadh restaurant wants to see a mostly Saudi, mostly Riyadh audience.
  4. Screen record, not just screenshot. A short screen recording scrolling from your profile into the insights is harder to fake and brands trust it more.
  5. Keep results from past deals. Promo code redemptions, swipe-ups or link clicks the brand shared with you, and a one-line quote from the brand if they will give one.
  6. Update it monthly.

Put the proof pack, your rate card and 3 to 5 sample Stories or Spotlights into one link. Our guide to building a portfolio and media kit shows how to lay it out, and how to prove your audience is real covers the checks brands run on followers.

Use a tracking link or code on every paid job

Ask the brand for a unique promo code or tracking link for your Story. The brand gets a number to report, and you get a result to show the next brand.

Do you need a Mawthooq licence to do paid Snaps in Saudi Arabia?

If you publish paid promotions on your own account to a Saudi audience, yes. Mawthooq is the advertiser licence issued by the General Authority for Media Regulation. In the figures we use, it costs SAR 15,000 for 3 years. Non-Saudis generally work through a commercial register or a licensed agency. Penalties for unlicensed paid promotion can reach SAR 5 million.

The rule to remember: licences attach to publishing. A paid Story sequence, a diary integration or a sponsored Spotlight on your own account is publishing. Pure UGC that you film and hand to a brand, which it posts on its own accounts or ads, generally does not trigger the licence. Ads that run through your own handle sit in between, so treat them as publishing and check before you agree. Rules change, so confirm the current terms with the authority. Our UAE permit and Saudi Mawthooq guide has the detail.

How do Snapchat creators get found by brands instead of waiting for DMs?

Brands search for creators by platform, niche, city and audience country. A Snap username alone does not show up in that search.

  1. Have one public link with your proof pack, rates and samples. Put it in your Snap profile and your other bios.
  2. Be listed where brands search. Join creator rosters that brands and agencies actually use, and list Snapchat as a platform even if your Instagram is smaller.
  3. Apply to campaigns. Many brands publish application links for specific campaigns. Applying puts you in front of a brand that already has a budget.

FROM THE PLATFORM
On Hypein, brands and MENA agencies search the creator roster by platform, niche, city and audience country, so a Snap creator in Riyadh can be found by a brand looking for exactly that. A person reviews every profile before it is listed and rejects dormant, spam and bought-following accounts, so being listed means you have already passed the checks brands would otherwise run themselves. Applying is free, staying listed is free, and Hypein takes no commission on your deals. Brands also publish campaign application links you can apply to. Hypein does not read your Snapchat analytics, so bring your own proof pack.

Frequently asked questions

No. Applying to the Hypein creator roster is free, staying listed is free, and Hypein takes no commission on your deals. Brands pay Hypein a subscription to search reviewed creators and contact them directly.
