UGC for Amazon and noon sellers in the GCC means short creator-made videos (unboxing, demo, comparison, size and fit) that you place on your Amazon.ae, Amazon.sa or noon product pages and in the ads that send shoppers to them. This guide covers what each marketplace actually allows in October 2026, which formats convert on a product page, the specs we could verify, the usage rights to agree, typical costs in AED and SAR, how to measure the result, and how to time it for White Friday and Yellow Friday.

Can you put UGC video on Amazon.ae and Amazon.sa listings?

For most brand owners, yes. The route depends on whether you are the brand owner, a reseller, or a creator.

Brand Registry is the usual gate

Amazon lists both the UAE and Saudi Arabia among its Brand Registry marketplaces. Third-party guides we checked agree that enrollment is per marketplace, so being registered on Amazon.ae does not automatically cover Amazon.sa, and that Amazon expects a registered trademark (a pending application is often not enough). Seller forum reports also suggest a GCC-registered mark makes the process smoother than a mark registered elsewhere.

Once registered, brand owners can add video to the product detail page through the Upload and manage videos page in Seller Central. Some recent guides say Amazon has opened video upload to eligible sellers without Brand Registry in the US, but we could not confirm that for .ae or .sa. Check whether the option shows in your own account before you commission anything.

Sponsored Brands video in the UAE and KSA

Amazon Ads launch notices list Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates as supported markets for Sponsored Brands video, including the vertical video format (announced 14 February 2024) and video-only creatives (January 2024). We did not find a 2026 page that restates this, so confirm the format in your ad console. If it is there, the same creator video can run on the listing and as a search ad, which is the main reason to buy paid ads rights up front.

The Amazon Influencer Program does run in the GCC

Amazon's own page on how the Amazon Influencer Program works, checked in October 2026, lists the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Egypt among the more than 20 countries where the program is available. Creators in the program can post shoppable photos and videos that Amazon says are eligible to appear across the site, including on product detail pages. This is a separate route: the creator posts the video under their own storefront, not you. You can brief a creator to review your product this way, but you do not control placement, and it counts as the creator publishing, so the UAE Advertiser Permit and Saudi Mawthooq rules may apply. Hedge here and check with the creator.

Does noon support product videos?

Yes, for some sellers. noon's seller help center has a page called Video Guidelines and Rejection Reasons for Seller SKUs. It says video upload is currently enabled for a limited group of sellers. If you see an Add video button in Seller Lab, you can upload directly. If you do not, noon says you can raise a Seller Support ticket with the video attached and the catalog team uploads it, typically within 1 to 2 business days once the file passes QC.

The rules noon publishes, as of October 2026:

noon A+ Content is a different feature. noon's help page says A+ currently supports image banners only, up to 10 per product, around 2000px wide. So UGC still helps there: use stills pulled from creator footage (hands holding the product, the product in a real Gulf home) as A+ banners. We could not confirm a video format inside noon's ad products, so for now plan noon video around the listing itself plus social ads that link to it.

Which UGC formats work on a product page?

A product page shopper has already found you. They want to see the thing, its size, and whether it does what the title says. Ads need a hook; listing videos need proof. These five formats do that job.

Unboxing

What arrives, how it is packed, what is in the box. Keep the camera on the product, not the courier bag: Amazon forum reports show videos rejected for focusing on packaging and shipping instead of the product. 20 to 40 seconds.

Demo

The product doing its main job in one continuous take, start to finish. For electronics, show setup and the first use. For kitchen products, show the result. This is the format we would buy first for most categories.

Comparison

Before and after, or your model beside an older version of your own range. Do not name or disparage competitor brands: noon rejects derogatory remarks about other brands and Amazon has similar content rules.

Size and fit

For fashion, abaya and modest wear, shoes and furniture, a creator showing the item on a real body or in a real room, with their height or the room size stated, answers the question that drives returns.

Arabic voiceover

Both marketplaces serve Arabic and English shoppers, and noon accepts videos in either language. Order an Arabic version for Saudi listings in particular: Khaleeji or Saudi dialect reads more natural than formal MSA for product content. Our guide to Arabic UGC creators in Saudi Arabia covers dialect and sourcing.

What specs should you brief?

Amazon does not publish one spec sheet we could confirm for .ae and .sa, and third-party guides disagree on file size caps (we saw 500 MB, 1 GB and 5 GB quoted). The safe brief, which also fits noon's published rules:

Ask the creator to shoot horizontal and vertical in the same session.

What usage rights do you need?

This is where marketplace UGC differs from social UGC. A listing video can stay on the page for years, and the same file may run as a paid ad. Agree each use in writing:

Pure UGC delivered to you and posted on your listing or your own ad accounts generally does not trigger the UAE Advertiser Permit or Saudi Mawthooq, because those attach to publishing on the creator's own accounts. Our influencer contract template has the clauses.

What does marketplace UGC cost in the GCC?

Typical ranges we see for GCC creators in 2026. Treat them as anchors, not quotes.

ItemTypical range
One UGC video (demo, unboxing, fit)$100 to 600 (AED ~370 to 2,200, SAR ~375 to 2,250)
Extra hook variant for ads$25 to 75 each
Paid ads usage rights+25 to 100% of base
Arabic and English versions+40 to 60%
Raw footageoften +25 to 50%
Rush delivery+25 to 50%
Agency commission, if used15 to 30%

A practical starter package for one hero product: one demo and one unboxing, each shot horizontal and vertical, with an Arabic voiceover version and 6 months of paid ads rights. In the ranges above that lands roughly between AED 1,500 and 6,000 depending on the creator. For the line-by-line brief and rate logic, see our UGC brief and pricing guide and UGC creator rates in Saudi Arabia.

How do you brief a marketplace UGC video?

Keep the brief to one page. A marketplace brief has fewer creative freedoms than a social brief because the reviewer is a catalog team, not an algorithm.

  1. Product and ASIN or SKU: which variant, which colour, which marketplace.
  2. The one question the video answers: "How big is it?", "Is it easy to set up?", "What is in the box?"
  3. Must show: 3 to 5 shots, in order.
  4. Must not show: prices, URLs, competitor brands, unlicensed music, unverified claims, personal data.
  5. Language and dialect: English, Arabic, or both, and which dialect.
  6. Formats: 16:9 and 9:16, length, stills.
  7. Rights: listing licence, ads term, raw footage.
  8. Deadline: allow time for marketplace review (Amazon review can take several days, noon quotes 1 to 2 business days after QC).

Our brief template guide has a fill-in version.

How do you measure UGC on a listing?

On the listing

Run a simple before and after. Record listing conversion for 2 to 4 weeks before the video goes live, then the same period after, with price, stock, coupons and ad spend held as steady as you can. On Amazon, unit session percentage in Seller Central business reports is the number to watch. If you sell several similar products, add the video to some and leave others as a comparison group.

Social traffic to the listing

Amazon's Amazon Attribution page, checked in October 2026, lists KSA and UAE as supported marketplaces, for professional sellers enrolled in Brand Registry who also run sponsored ads, plus vendors and agencies. It gives you a tagged link per creator or ad, and reports clicks, add to carts and purchases on Amazon. noon has no equivalent we could verify, so for noon use a unique UTM-tagged link per creator and measure clicks on your own landing page or link redirect, then compare with noon sales for the period. It is less precise.

FROM THE PLATFORM
On Hypein you search creators that a person has reviewed before they are listed (dormant, spam and bought-following accounts are rejected), filter by city, niche and audience country, and contact them directly or through a campaign application link. Each creator in a campaign gets their own tracking link with UTMs added automatically, so the social traffic you send to an Amazon or noon listing is split per creator, and Instagram and TikTok posts using your campaign hashtag are collected automatically.

When should you book UGC for White Friday and Yellow Friday?

Amazon's White Friday and noon's Yellow Friday both run in late November, with UAE National Day on 2 December 2026 right after. Marketplace video needs extra lead time because it passes a review step before it shows.

WhenWhat to do
Mid to late OctoberPick hero products, confirm video upload access in Seller Central and Seller Lab, shortlist creators
Late October to early NovemberBrief, ship product, shoot horizontal and vertical cuts
Early to mid NovemberUpload to listings, allow for review, start the before and after baseline
Mid NovemberLaunch Sponsored Brands video and social ads with Attribution or UTM links
Late November to 2 DecemberSale period, swap hook variants on ads, keep the listing video unchanged

If you are reading this in late October, prioritise one demo video per hero product over a wider set. Our White Friday campaign plan covers the influencer side, and influencer marketing for GCC e-commerce brands covers the wider funnel.

Frequently asked questions

Can I upload UGC videos to my Amazon.ae or Amazon.sa listing?

Usually yes, if your account is eligible. Amazon lists the UAE and Saudi Arabia as Brand Registry marketplaces, and brand-registered sellers can add video to product detail pages through the Upload and manage videos tool in Seller Central. Enrollment is per marketplace and needs a registered trademark, so check the option appears in your .ae or .sa account before you commission videos.

Does noon allow product videos on listings?

Yes, for some sellers. noon's seller help center says video upload is enabled for a limited group of sellers through an Add video button in Seller Lab, and that sellers without the button can send the video to Seller Support for the catalog team to upload. Videos must be in English or Arabic, MP4 is preferred, and the maximum length is 2.5 minutes. noon A+ Content currently supports image banners only.

Is the Amazon Influencer Program available in the UAE and Saudi Arabia?

Yes. Amazon's own page on how the Amazon Influencer Program works, checked in October 2026, lists the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia among the more than 20 countries where it runs. Creators in the program can post shoppable videos that are eligible to appear on product detail pages, which is a separate route from the seller uploading the video.

What usage rights do I need for UGC on a product page?

Agree listing use and paid ads use separately in writing. A product page video often stays live for years, so ask for a long or perpetual licence for the listing, and price paid ads use such as Sponsored Brands video or Meta and TikTok ads as an add-on, typically 25 to 100 percent on top of the base rate in the ranges we see.

How do I measure whether a UGC video improves my listing?

Compare listing conversion for a fixed period before and after the video goes live, with price and stock held steady. Amazon reports unit session percentage for this in Seller Central. For social traffic that you send to the listing, Amazon Attribution lists KSA and UAE as supported marketplaces for brand-registered sellers, and for noon you can use UTM-tagged links with your own landing analytics.
